Spectacular spring sunshine showed up for Newquay’s Bodyboard-Depot/Science free demo day on Saturday along with an eager crowd of over 25 bodyboarding enthusiast who travelled from all over the UK to attend.

With the sun blazing overhead and fun 1-2ft waves breaking at Towan beach junior bodyboarders from around the country took part in a free coaching session and competition in Newquay last Sunday.

The first ever Bodyboard-Depot and ThreeSixty Magazine Grom Challenge. Open to all groms 18 and under and they will get a half day of free coaching by Rob Barber and his team. Then in the afternoon we will run the first ever UK grommet contest.

Last weekend heralded the Wales leg of the ThreeSixty Bodyboard Magazine’s Coaching Tour sponsored by The Bodyboard-Depot and Science Bodyboards.
