The 3rd event on the IBA Grand Slam Series gets underway this Friday (20th May) as the Worlds best riders assemble at one of the favourite stops on tour, El Gringo in Arica, Chile.
The event has firmly established itself as one of the heaviest waves on the series and the riders are once again looking to use this event to showcase to the world exactly what this sport has to offer.

Young Australian rider Sam Bennett has won the 6 Star GQS event, the Peruvian Inka Challenge.
This is the biggest win of his career and puts him in a great position to qualify for next years GSS.
Sam defeated Brazilian Lucas Nogueira in the final.
The other rookie on the IBA World Tour is another of the Port Macquarie locals Chase O’Leary. Chase has already won a GSS trials event and with a 3rd in the 6 Star GQS is sitting in a strong position for next years GSS Tour.
