Feeder to Play Lusty Glaze Beach in Newquay

30 May 2012 No Comment

The one-off gig at this stunning North Cornwall beach is part of the band’s summer festival line-up, which also includes appearances at the Isle of Wight Festival, T in the Park and Kendal Calling.

Feeder will play in front of 2,000 fans at the beach event, presented in association with Asahi Beer, at this small Cornish cove on the outskirts of Newquay. Well known for their crowd pleasing hits Buck Rogers, Feeling a Moment and High, the Feeder gig looks set to be one of the musical highlights of the Cornish summer season.

Securing Feeder for the beach gig is a huge coup for Lusty Glaze, which has gained a reputation as a quality live music venue for its ‘Sundowner Sessions’ in recent years. Previous acts who have played on the stage overlooking the sea include The Kooks, Ocean Colour Scene and Reef.

Event Manager Nick Webb commented: “Feeder are the ultimate surf rock band and a perfect fit for this amazing beach venue. With such a strong catalogue of uplifting hits, the Feeder gig is going to be an awesome evening.”

Tickets for the Feeder gig at Lusty Glaze Beach on Newquay on Thursday 26 July are priced £22 and are available from www.seetickets.com
